A Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field. Bachelor's Degree with significant relevant experience considered. Salary to $115,000.

Senior Appeals Review Nurse. Seeking an outgoing RN to fill a Sr. Appeals Review Nurse position in TX office. This role offers plenty of autonomy, a regular business schedule, and a nice change from direct care. Additionally, the chosen candidate may be able to work from home after six months.

 Key responsibilities of the Sr. Appeals Review Nurse include:

  • Reviewing appeals and grievances
  • Applying set criteria such as Certificates of Coverage,
  • Conducting Internet research
  • Approving or denying received appeals/grievances
  • Identifying trends and providing related feedback to management
  • Performing risk management activities
